Chapter 1

Summary: Sookie finds herself running away from her controlling mother, and her would be husband, whom she left at the altar. She ends up staying with a friend in San Diego and meets single father, Eric. She’s reluctant to get too close to him, and does everything she can to stay away from him. That is until she ends up getting to know him after all. She gets the fresh start she was looking for.
